Recently, the Gansu Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology announced the 2025 Green Manufacturing List, and Lanzhou Taibang Chemical Technology Co., Ltd. (hereafter referred to as "Lanzhou Taibang"), part of the Energy & Chemicals Division of the Greatland Holdings Group, proudly earned the title of "2025 Gansu Province Green Manufacturing Unit."

The green factory is the primary entity responsible for implementing green manufacturing, serving as the core supporting unit of the green manufacturing system. It features land-use intensification, harmless raw materials, clean production processes, waste-to-resource utilization, and low-carbon energy practices. Moreover, it represents the official, authoritative certification by the nation, recognizing enterprises that have achieved industry-leading standards in green initiatives, energy efficiency, and environmental protection.

Green factories are a key initiative for implementing "Made in China 2025" and the nation's "Dual Carbon" strategy. This certification aims to drive industrial enterprises toward a greener, more efficient, and low-carbon transformation, while enhancing resource efficiency and environmental sustainability. The evaluation criteria for green factories encompass multiple aspects, including energy consumption, resource utilization, emission control, production processes, and green supply chains. The selection process is rigorous, involving a comprehensive assessment that covers the entire lifecycle of each factory.

Lanzhou Taibang has recently been honored as a Green Manufacturing Unit, thanks to the group’s continuous efforts in applying innovative technological pathways, cutting-edge technologies, and groundbreaking achievements across the upstream and downstream segments of its industrial chain—driving the industry’s upgrade and transformation. This recognition also stems from the company’s strong industry influence, as it serves as the chairman unit of the Chlorate Branch under China Inorganic Salt Industry Association, leveraging its leadership role to jointly cultivate an integrated model that seamlessly merges technological innovation with industrial advancement, ultimately turning scientific breakthroughs into a powerful engine propelling the sector forward.

Currently, Lanzhou Taibang holds 6 national invention patents and proprietary utility models related to the production and manufacturing of sodium chlorate, potassium perchlorate, hydrogen peroxide, and other products. The R&D team, led by Academician Shuangfei Wang from the Chinese Academy of Engineering, has earned the Second Prize of the 2019 National Technology Invention Award for their groundbreaking achievements in the industry—this is currently the highest-level award the sector has received. Lanzhou Taibang has also built the only integrated production line in China that simultaneously covers "sodium chlorate-potassium perchlorate-hydrogen peroxide," achieving zero wastewater discharge in the joint production process of sodium chlorate and potassium perchlorate. As a result, the company has set a green manufacturing benchmark by establishing a circular economy industrial park focused on green energy chemicals, new materials, and the comprehensive utilization of hydrogen energy, thereby promoting sustainable and eco-friendly industrial development.

As a leading enterprise in the industry driving green development, Lanzhou Taibang actively responds to the nation’s call for "intelligent manufacturing and green manufacturing," while consistently upholding the development philosophy of innovation, coordination, green practices, openness, and shared benefits. By adopting cutting-edge, energy-saving, and environmentally friendly technologies, equipment, processes, and materials, we promote the establishment of a green manufacturing system through clean production methods, leveraging environmental optimization to propel the company’s high-quality growth—and ultimately building ourselves into a benchmark enterprise that is both "resource-efficient" and "environmentally friendly."

Green factories are a vital force in advancing the greening of industry and fostering new, high-quality productivity. As the green transformation deepens, the Energy & Chemicals Division of Continental Group is not only focusing on making individual factories more sustainable but also striving to build a comprehensive green manufacturing ecosystem at the group level. By leading the industry in sharing the benefits of green development and implementing green manufacturing technology upgrades, the division’s various factories have collectively achieved synergistic effects in green production.

Previously, Sichuan Hope Hydropower Development Co., Ltd. and Qinghai Guoyuan Chemical Technology Co., Ltd., both under Hope Energy & Chemical, have also been honored multiple times as "Green Factories." Leveraging the group's long-standing proprietary intellectual assets—such as patents and specialized technologies accumulated over decades in the energy, chemical, machinery, and electronics sectors—Hope Energy & Chemical is transforming its patented innovations into cutting-edge green energy and chemical production capabilities that drive high-quality industry growth. This approach helps build a unique, integrated green circular economy industrial chain for clean energy, eco-friendly chemicals, and comprehensive hydrogen energy utilization. Meanwhile, products manufactured by Hope Energy & Chemical are widely exported overseas, reaching markets such as Thailand, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, the Philippines, Indonesia, Australia, India, Angola, Morocco, Brazil, and more.

Meanwhile, the Continental Group is also committed to enhancing the green development level across the upstream and downstream segments of its industrial chain, helping enterprises at all levels jointly achieve sustainable growth and continuously injecting vitality into the region's green economic development. Looking ahead, Lanzhou Taibang will take its recognition as a "Green Manufacturing Unit" as an opportunity to drive corporate growth through technological innovation, thereby fostering strong momentum for high-quality development throughout the entire industry chain—both upstream and downstream.
