Mainly used in the manufacture of fireworks, safety matches, meteorological rockets, civilian igniting coal, oxidizers, automotive airbags, etc. Also used in antipyretic, diuretic drugs, luminous signal agents, chemical analysis reagents, etc.

    Hazard

May cause fire or explosion, strong oxidizer, harmful if swallowed

    Precautionary Measures

      1. Keep away from combustible (flammable) materials, heat sources/sparks/open flames/hot surfaces and other ignition sources.

      2. Protect from rain and sun, handle gently, prevent friction, strictly prohibit impact.

      3. Take all preventive measures to avoid mixing with combustible/organic substances.

      4. Thoroughly wash all exposed body parts after contact.

      5. Do not eat, drink, or smoke when using this product.

      6. Avoid release into the environment.

      7. Wear protective gloves/protective clothing/protective goggles/protective mask when in contact.

    Accident Response

      1. In case of fire: extinguish with plenty of water, do not cover with sand or soil. In case of large fire and large leakage, evacuate the site.

      2. Ingestion: Do not induce vomiting, rinse mouth with water, give milk or egg white to drink, seek medical attention.

      3. Skin (or hair) contact: remove contaminated clothing, wash skin thoroughly with soap and water. Seek medical attention if discomfort occurs.

      4. Inhalation: quickly move to fresh air, keep breathing unobstructed. If breathing is difficult, provide oxygen. If breathing and heartbeat stop, perform CPR and artificial respiration immediately, seek medical attention.

      5. Eye contact: lift eyelids and rinse with flowing clean water or saline, seek medical attention if discomfort occurs.

    Safe Storage

      1. Store in a cool, ventilated warehouse; workers should frequently change and wash work clothes; keep away from fire sources and heat. Do not store together with oil, charcoal, phosphorus, sulfur, and organic substances; prohibit use of machinery and tools that generate sparks.

    Waste Disposal

      1. Dispose of contents/container according to local/regional/national/international regulations.
